When the Buffalo Bills completed their draft process in which they made ten selections despite coming into the draft with just seven picks, their final rookie class brought some mixed emotions. No one should be upset with the class because they ultimately addressed a ton of needs. At the same time, there weren’t a lot of splashy picks.

They went heavy on defense but also addressed the wide receiver room and even brought in offensive line depth on Day 3 of the draft. Their first offensive lineman they selected with Jude Bowry out of Boston College, who has been a primary left tackle but has a great chance at being pushed inside to guard.

Their second one they brought in was late in the 7th round in Ar’Maj Reed-Adams, who is a guard out of Texas A&M. Fans may not be thinking much about this pick, but ESPN’s Field Yates listed Reed-Adams as one of his favorite picks in the final round.

"I'm all about traits on Day 3, and the Bills landed a massive prospect with their final pick of the weekend. At 6-6, 314 pounds, Reed-Adams is highly experienced and aggressive as a blocker. He showed major improvements late in the 2025 season, with just one penalty in his final eight games. Quicker interior rushers will give him fits, but he's a hard player for rushers to get disengaged from." said Yates.

Ar'Maj Reed-Adams may be an impactful player for Bills (and fans may not realize it yet)

The great thing about the draft is that there are so many examples of players having success, no matter where they were drafted. Heck, even undrafted players have shined once in awhile, too. The selection of Reed-Adams may not have meant much to fans, but he will be extra line depth for years to come on a cheap contract.

In addition, if he somehow because one of the better players in the offensive line room, then Buffalo would have themselves a big time steal with his production. Reed-Adams is someone that Buffalo needs as depth, with the potential of atleast competing to be a starter.

The Bills have their center and two tackles taken care of. As for the guard position, that could be up for grabs after the 2026 season. Right now, the penciled-in starters should be Alec Anderson and O’Cyrus Torrence. Both players are going into contract years, as well as Austin Corbett who the Bills signed in free agency.

Reed-Adams may have an advantage to work his way up and become a starter if he impresses the coaching staff enough. As OTAs and training camp approach, Reed-Adams is someone that shouldn’t be ignored.
