If any Buffalo Bills fans were hoping that Brandon Beane would make a pick in the first round, they were disappointed not once, not twice, but three times. That’s right, the Bills traded back three times from No. 26 and eventually traded out of the first round.
Their first trade was with the Texans where Buffalo traded the 26th and 91st pick in exchange for picks No. 28, 63, and 168. Then Buffalo traded back again with the New England Patriots, sending the 28th pick in exchange for No. 31 and No. 125. Finally, the Bills traded out of the first round where they did an unnecessary even pick swap with the Titans.
The Bills sent picks No. 35, 66, and 101 to Tennessee in exchange for picks No. 35, 69, and 165. For the second time in three years, the Bills will kick off their draft in the second round.
When you break it all down, the Bills essentially added two additional draft picks and will now have nine draft picks to work with. Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN, here are now the updated draft picks for the Bills moving forward:

Bills do the unthinkable and trade back 3 times in first round
Many people expected the Bills to trade back or possibly just trade out of the first round. I don’t know if there was anyone that thought the Bills would trade back three times before finally getting out of the first round. Well, that has officially happened.
It will be interesting to see what Buffalo does, considering the talent that is still available. Players like DT Kayden McDonald, LBs Jacob Rodriguez and CJ Allen, WR Denzel Boston, and EDGE Cashius Howell are still available. When the second round begins tomorrow night, Bills fans will be watching the screen closely to see what the Bills do. Heck, they may even trade back again if there is an offer that is strong enough.
